「ゾウとハートとライオンの夢」
“The Elephant, the Heart, and the Lion’s Dream”
マカロニの雲から降りてきた、
They floated down from macaroni clouds,
ピンクの耳のゾウが言った：
The elephant with pink ears said aloud:
「ティーポットの中にジャングルがあるよ、
“There’s a jungle inside my teapot today,
ライオンがスプーンで星をすくってる。」
And the lion’s scooping stars with a spoon of clay.”
トラは縞々のメロディで笑い、
The tiger laughed in striped delight,
カラフルなハートの虎はくるくる踊る。
While the rainbow-hearted cat took flight.
「愛はバターみたいに塗るもんさ」
“Love’s like butter you spread on toast,”
そう言って虹をサンドイッチにした。
He whispered, dancing with a jellyfish ghost.
ふわふわの彼らは時間の外を歩き、
Fluffy and fearless they walked through time,
昼も夜もパフェの中。
In a sundae where clocks forgot to chime.
「意味があるから素敵なんじゃない。
“It’s not the meaning that makes it fly,
意味がないから飛べるのさ。」
It’s the nonsense that lets it touch the sky.”
